Buy Ninja CREAMi containers by the model number on your machine, not by capacity alone. Original-style machines use the 16-ounce XSKPLID2CD family, Deluxe machines use the 24-ounce XSKPNTLD2 family, and NC700-series Scoop & Swirl machines use the separate 16-ounce XSK7PNTLD2 system. The Original and Swirl containers are both called pints, but that does not make them interchangeable. Our recommendation is a genuine matching pack before an unverified universal replacement.

Which container goes with each CREAMi family?

Start with the complete appliance label and find it in Ninja's current accessory compatibility list. The table below is a shopping shortcut for named US examples, not permission to assume every similar-looking model belongs to a family. Regional suffixes, bundles, and newer machines still need their own explicit match.

Ninja's current Deluxe accessory page includes NC600 models in its title and compatibility list, while some older wording on that same page still says NC500 only. We rely on the explicit current model list for the named NC601 examples and flag the inconsistency rather than silently extending compatibility. If your suffix is not listed, have Ninja confirm it before ordering.

What should Original CREAMi owners buy?

The genuine XSKPLID2CD two-pack is the first option to check for an NC299AMZ, NC300, or NC301. Ninja's current listing also names NC350-series compatibility; match the full variant before buying. This is the conventional 16-ounce pint-and-storage-lid system, not a dispensing container for a Swirl.

Extra matching pints are useful when your limitation is having different bases ready in the freezer. A spare container lets you prepare another flavor without waiting to finish the first. It does not upgrade the machine's programs, enlarge a single processing batch, or remove the preparation and freezing steps in the owner's guide. Buy for the number of bases you actually keep ready, rather than a large pack's headline discount.

A genuine pack also makes identifying future replacements easier: retain its part number with your machine details. Lid colors may differ by pack, so use the part family and compatibility list as the decisive checks. A product title that says “for Ninja” can describe a third-party accessory; it is not evidence that Ninja made or validated it.

  • Pros: specific official part family; useful for separate freezer batches; no need to replace the machine to add storage capacity.
  • Cons: limited to its listed machines; spare pints require freezer space; larger multipacks can be unnecessary.

Skip this if you own a Deluxe, an NC700 Swirl, or a model that is absent from Ninja's list. Matching 16-ounce capacity is insufficient.

What changes for Deluxe and current XL owners?

The XSKPNTLD2 pack contains two 24-ounce tubs and storage lids. It is the family to check for NC500 and NC501 Deluxe machines and the NC601 variants specifically named by Ninja. Do not buy a 16-ounce pack because a marketplace title groups every CREAMi under one heading.

The capacity difference is useful for planning, but it is not an adapter strategy. A 24-ounce tub provides 50 percent more nominal capacity than a 16-ounce container by arithmetic. It does not follow that a smaller machine can process it, or that every program uses the entire nominal volume. Follow the fill lines and the exact recipe/program directions instead of filling to a number calculated from the advertised capacity.

Ninja lists this pack's dimensions as 4.88 × 4.88 × 5.25 inches. Treat that as the manufacturer's product dimension statement, not a measured freezer envelope with the lid installed: the listing does not establish every clearance you might need. If freezer height is tight, measure the genuine tub you already own and include the lid and shelf opening. The accessory should fit your storage routine as well as your machine.

  • Pros: official match for named Deluxe/XL models; two extra bases can be prepared separately; larger nominal capacity than Original.
  • Cons: physically different family; confusing legacy wording on the listing; cannot serve as a cross-family replacement.

Skip this if you need pints for an NC301 or NC701. Also skip buying a tub-only pack if the broken part is actually the outer bowl or processing lid.

Why does Swirl need a different 16-ounce pint?

The XSK7PNTLD2 Swirl pack is specifically for listed NC700-series machines. Ninja includes two 16-ounce 2-in-1 pints, two storage lids, and two nozzles. The dispensing components make this a distinct container system even though its nominal volume matches an Original pint.

That matters when a shopper intends to use only the scoopable programs. Choosing a different program does not establish that a container from another machine locks, aligns, and processes correctly. Use the matching Swirl system for the machine, and follow its assembly instructions. Do not force an Original pint into place or buy an aftermarket adapter on the assumption that only the nozzle distinguishes the families.

Check the included pieces carefully on replacement listings. A photograph of two clear containers can obscure whether nozzles and storage lids are supplied. If you already own the right pints and only need one damaged component, compare a model-specific replacement with the price of a full pack. Conversely, a low-priced lid listing does not give you another complete container for freezer preparation.

  • Pros: named NC700 compatibility; supplied nozzles and lids; preserves the machine's intended dispensing-container system.
  • Cons: more parts to identify and clean; does not fit an Original solely because both are 16 oz; another system to keep separate in a mixed-machine household.

Skip this if your machine is an Original or Deluxe. For a Swirl owner, skip any supposed substitute whose seller cannot name the exact machine and all supplied components.

How can you avoid ordering the wrong part?

Identify the damaged or missing component before searching. The removable food container, its storage lid, the outer bowl, the processing lid, and any dispensing parts perform different jobs. A pint pack generally solves a food-container shortage; it does not replace the entire assembly that holds and processes the container.

Read the full machine model from its label while the appliance is safely switched off and handled according to its manual. Record the accessory number from your original packaging or Ninja's parts finder. Then compare the live listing's title, selected variant, compatibility table, and box contents. If those disagree, stop the purchase rather than choosing whichever claim sounds most convenient.

For third-party pints, a lower price alone is not enough for a recommendation here. We have no independent measurements of locking geometry, processing clearance, material durability, or leak resistance. Nor have we tested any replacement in these machines. A merchant's list of compatible models is useful screening information, but it should not be rewritten as verified manufacturer compatibility.

How many extra containers are worth buying?

Count the bases you want ready at the same time, subtract the usable matching containers you own, and start with the smallest pack covering the gap. If two people want different flavors on the same weekend, that may justify two extras. If you repeatedly use one recipe and have limited freezer space, a four-pack can become stored clutter.

In a household with Original and Swirl machines, label the storage areas by model family rather than by “small pints.” Keep lids and nozzles together with their matching containers. This simple separation is more useful than buying visually matching colors across incompatible systems. Check for damaged containers and follow the specific model's care instructions before reuse; a spare is useful only when it remains suitable for processing.

Start here: model label, official compatibility list, exact part family, then pack size. Skip this first: universal-fit claims and giant bundles before you know the fit. Amazon links point to checked listings for the named parts; confirm the selected product and seller; unrelated or sponsored results are not substitutes. For other appliance decisions, return to our home and kitchen hub or compare KitchenAid pasta attachments by workflow.

Which sources define the compatibility?

Checked September 30, 2026 against Ninja's US Original pint listing, Deluxe/XL tub listing, Scoop & Swirl pack, and ice-cream-maker parts catalog. The table records stated compatibility, not our physical fit testing.
